Happiness Hour by YWRC Ambassadors
You’re invited to join the YWRC Ambassadors for Happiness Hour!
Happiness Hour is a twist on the classic Happy Hour. While we’ll have light refreshments and opportunities to mingle with peers, we’ll also provide activities you can participate in that give back to the community and inspire joy. Tours of the YWRC are also available.

Guests can enjoy light refreshments, participate in Activity & Joy Stations, and learn more about the YWRC. This event is for those 21 years and older. Guests are encouraged to bring a donation of snack items to be used as fuel for the YWRC Summer Program participants (see their favorites listed below).
Activity & Joy Stations include:
- Snack Box Station – assemble a snack bag for a camper and decorate the bag with uplifting doodles and notes.
- Kindness Cards – write empowering notes for girls attending Summer Program.
- Vision Board Minis – create small, personal vision boards or “joy jars” to take home. (Identifying goals and pathways to reach them is one way the YWRC empowers youth.)
Fan favorite snack ideas include: (individually wrapped snacks are preferred)
- Chips (lays, Pringles, Takis, Hot Cheetos/Cheetos)
- Cookies ( Oreos, chips a hoy)
- Little muffins
- Chewy granola bars
- Rice crispy treats
- Slim Jim’s
- String cheese
- Veggies/ fruit and dips
- Crackers (Ritz, Cheez Itz, pretzels)
Parking for Happiness Hour is available in the YWRC parking lot on the west side of our building, at parking meters on surround streets, and in the parking garage between 6th and 7th Streets.
